Gold Leaf Society

Recognizing your gift of the future today.

The Gold Leaf Society was created to celebrate our visionary donors who have made a planned gift to the University Hospital Foundation.

When you become a member of the University Hospital Foundation’s Gold Leaf Society, your generosity will be celebrated in a way that ensures your gift will never be forgotten – this is our way of saying welcome to the University Hospital Foundation community, and thank you.

Without your compassion for the future health of your family, friends and neighbours, our ability to support life-saving healthcare advancements would be curtailed.

A community of like-minded individuals awaits

This may be stating the obvious, but the University Hospital Foundation’s Gold Leaf Society would not be the same without you.

Neither would health care at the University of Alberta Hospital site – which is why we are so excited to hear that you are considering making a planned gift to the University Hospital Foundation.

Legacy gifts underpin every emergency surgery, diagnostic exam, bedside consultation and research project conducted by our doctors and healthcare teams – and there are thousands and thousands of them every year.

Stan the man

Gold Leaf Society Member, Cathy Housdorff, wanted to say thank you to the healthcare teams at the University of Alberta Hospital who worked so hard to save her vision.

And to leave a legacy on behalf of her Dad – Stan the Man – whose big laugh and love of life touches her every day, despite his passing due to Lewy Body Dementia in December, 2020.
