Peggy Garritty recently completed her term as Chancellor of the University of Alberta and is renowned for her skills in strategic communication and brand development in her own business and as a high-level executive with ATB. Her extensive board experience includes prestigious organizations such as the Art Gallery of Alberta, Alberta Ballet, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Children’s Wish Foundation and the Alberta Mental Health Foundation. Peggy is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and has been recognized with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for her exemplary contributions to Canada.
As the President and CEO of JV Driver, Chuck Sanders oversees a diverse portfolio that includes construction, automotive, insurance, real estate, hospitality, financing and investments. His previous board memberships with the Covenant Foundation and Entrec Corporation showcase his governance experience. Chuck is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an Institute of Corporate Director Certification, adding significant financial and operational expertise to our board.
Harry Sunner is the CEO and Owner of Durabuilt Windows and Doors, where he has demonstrated remarkable leadership in transforming the company from just 10 employees to a thriving team of over 650. His vision and talent for fostering high-performing teams have been instrumental in Durabuilt's growth. Harry’s board experience includes his role with the CASA Foundation, and he has shown tremendous support and generosity towards the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and the University Hospital Foundation. He has been honored as a Top 40 Under 40 and was a finalist for the 2015 Entrepreneur of the Year, along with receiving the Alberta Business Family of the Year award.
