December 2-5, 2021
We are thrilled to announce that the University Hospital Foundation's Festival of Trees, one of Edmonton’s most cherished holiday traditions, is returning to a live, in-person event running December 2-5, 2021, at the Edmonton Convention Centre.
We are excited to welcome back the community this December. Although moving to a virtual event last year was the right decision, and we saw our community members step up and continue to support us, we know that it was not the same as celebrating the holidays together in person. We are ready to come back safely and better than ever.
Share the Joy
The theme of this year’s Festival of Trees is “Share the Joy” and it’s sure to dazzle as the University Hospital Foundation welcomes the entire community to come back together to celebrate the holidays with the traditions and cultures that make our community strong and vibrant. It’s about bringing the people and cultures of Edmonton and surrounding areas together to make new friends, laugh and play, and advance care for those who need our help to live healthier lives.
About the University Hospital Foundation's Festival of Trees
For 36 years, the University Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees has been a source of civic pride, family fun, and invaluable support for patient care and research at the University of Alberta Hospital site. With over 35,000 visitors, it’s also one of Edmonton’s largest indoor events of the holiday season.
Festival of Trees has raised over $22 million for critically important causes at the University of Alberta Hospital site. From bringing incision-free brain surgery technology to Edmonton to expanding intensive care for cardiac patients, funds raised have impacted patients from head-to-toe, inside and out.
That’s why sponsoring the 2021 Festival of Trees will not only make you part of one of Edmonton’s most-cherished annual events, but will also help bring joy to the lives of people who need it most.
For people living with end-stage kidney disease, dialysis is a way of life. For most, that means three to four trips to the hospital every week, for four to five hours at a time. The toll on their lives is excruciating. But they cannot live without it.
Your support of the 2021 Festival of Trees will make life better for people living with end-stage kidney disease.
