Share the Joy
The theme of this year’s Festival of Trees is “Share the Joy” and it’s sure to dazzle as the University Hospital Foundation welcomes the entire community to celebrate the holidays with the traditions and cultures that make our community strong and vibrant.
Share the Joy is all about bringing the people and cultures of Edmonton and surrounding areas together to make new friends, laugh and play, and advance care for those who need our help to live healthier lives.
Laura Bachynski has art hanging in Europe, the United States, Mexico and throughout Canada. She is also a book illustrator, and a singer/songwriter. Laura hasn’t missed a single year of attending the University Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees since she moved here from Calgary 20 years ago, when she was invited by a friend who was involved with Festival of Trees to the Luncheon & Fashion Show.
Jordanna Kuefler is from Edmonton, and works as Registered Nurse at the University of Alberta Hospital. She has been a nurse for 16 years, and started painting when her daughter was young because her family couldn’t afford to buy artwork. When she heard about the opportunity to get involved with the University Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees she jumped at the chance to Share the Joy.
