Employee
Engagement

Engaged Employees are Happy Employees
Engage your employees and foster champions of the University Hospital Foundation through team building, volunteer activities, campaign leadership, or behind-the-scenes tours with some the best and brightest medical minds in Canada.
Learn how you can engage your employees:

“The charities and initiatives we get involved in affect our community. Healthcare directly impacts everybody – our employees, their family members, vendors and customers.”
Ways to Partner
Employee Opportunities
Provide unique experiences for employees, such as volunteering at Festival of Trees, participating in Heart Pledge Day, or participating in behind-the-scenes tours with teams in the hospital. Offering volunteer opportunities is a great way to increase corporate culture and engagement amongst employees. These opportunities might be tied specifically to an existing UHF event, or they might be more closely associated with our ongoing operations. Regardless, we love having our partner companies involve their teams.
Employee Giving
Connect your workforce to a UHF partnership through automatic paycheck deductions that allow for employee giving. Corporate investment in a cause, especially when employees are directly contributing themselves, tends to increase the level of impact team members feel they are making in the community. This, in turn, can have a positive impact on your business’ recruitment, retention, and overall employee wellbeing and productivity.
Employee Champions
Provide meaningful opportunities for employees to spearhead internal campaigns around your involvement with the UHF. Identifying employees who want to take a leadership role as a UHF champion within your organization makes it easier to engage other team members at all levels, so you can collaboratively work towards achieving your fundraising goals and community investment objectives.

A FAMILY BUSINESS GIVES BACK
Giving back is a family affair for the Rosenaus. Support from Rosenau Transport has helped fund almost every area of care at the University of Alberta Hospital including Canada’s first Stroke Ambulance, incision free brain surgery, cardiac care and transplants. It all started because of an emergency.
